SOS Group is proud to continue its support for local sport through a new partnership with the Newcastle Panthers Volleyball Club, one of the North East’s most inclusive and dynamic volleyball communities.
On Saturday 27th September, the Newcastle Panthers men’s team played an intense first-round National Shield match against the University of Leeds. The thrilling five-set game ended in dramatic fashion, with the Panthers securing victory 25-16, 20-25, 19-25, 25-21, 17-15.
Their determination and teamwork earned them a well-deserved place in the second round, where they’ll face Darkstar Derby on 1st November. SOS Group wishes the team every success as they progress through the competition.
A Proud Partnership
Andrew Skelton, Director at SOS Group, visited the team ahead of the match to wish them luck as they took to the court in their new sponsored strips.
“It’s great to be able to support another team within this fabulous club — now making it six teams supported by SOS,” Andrew said.
